Contesting Citations & Review Commission

It is of my personal opinion that no one should receive a citation. We know the rules, there even in a book for goodness sake. But, Murphy's law seems to be in effect all of the time and "things happen", right? Well every one should know that you have 15 days to contest a citation. You have the right to request an informal conference, where you can "explain".

But sometimes OSHA just doesn't understand what your saying, and you honestly believe you are not in the wrong. So you stand your ground. Well what happens after that? Usually the case is going to the OSH Review Commission. I personally have never been to this stage, usually I am able to resolve the situation at the informal conference. Fo those of you that would like to see more about how the Review Commission works, see the link below.
