OTI Trainer Guidelines

For those Safety Professionals who are OTI trainers, OSHA issued a new set of training guidelines in February of this year. They are pretty strict and require to sign a confirmation section. Failure to follow these rules can result in criminal penalties against the trainer.

I believe OSHA is starting to come down hard on those giving out cards just to make a dime. I have read articles where trainers teach 5 hours for a 10 hour class, and 10 hours for a 30 hour class. Are you kidding me?? They honestly thought they were going to get away with it?

Well now things should be on the up and up, atleast I hope. Attached is the new Training guidelines straight from the OSHA website.
